A picnic shelter has been constructed at the site of Ohio's Millennium Grove. It is approximately 24' square. To inquire about reserving the shelter for your event, submit a request via the Chillicothe citizen request form. Be sure and specify the Parks & Recreation department in the drop-down box.
The shelter (and the already-completed path) was made possible in part by a grant from Nature Works, which was awarded a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
In April of 2022, the shelter was named after the found of the Grove, C. Duane "Whitely" Coates. Read more about the dedication here.
